Crane Workshop - Day 2 -

Our crane workshop today was a bit too rainy so we stayed inside the cafeteria during the morning recess. Some 2nd graders came as soon as their recess started and helped us make more cranes. Then, when the recess for the upper grades started, those students who had seen a slide presentation earlier in the day all came down, eager to learn and make paper cranes with us. One organizer, Akiko, said she was moved by the children's response to the presentation and was inspired by their desire to participate in crane making and offering support to the children of Otsuchi.
